Ranthambore National Park is world famous tiger reserve located among the green hills of aravali and vindhya ranges. Total area of ranthambore is 1,334 km². Only a area of 400 km² is allowed for National Park safari. It was royal hunting ground in former and were use to hunt the wild animals. Later, about in 1973 it was declared Tiger reserve for to the tiger reserve project. It is a land of wild animals like leopard, tiger, hyna, spotted deer, Neel Gai, Saambhar, Black Deer, Crocodile and different types of birds can be spot in the park.

Sightseeing
Ranthambore Fort
Ranthambore Fort lies in the reserve itself though you need not buy a ticket to get into the reserve to see the fort. The fort is situated higher up and the view from it is quite amazing. A beautiful view of the sanctuary and about three lakes is visible. The Ganesh Temple is also located on the top of this fort.
Rajiv Gandhi Museum
The Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History, Sawai Madhopur is the country`s fourth regional museum of Natural History in Sawai Madhopur, India with exhibits on plants, animals and geology of the Western region of India.
Jogi Mahal
Jogi Mahal is another major attraction of Ranthambore. This is a forest department rest house where travelers use to take rest after a long days exploration. The adjoining Padam Talab is another attraction of the place that leaves travellers amazed by its serene beauty. Next to the Jogi Mahal is an ancient banyan tree, the second largest banyan tree in India.
Chambal Boat Safari
The Chambal remains one of India's most pristine rivers. The safari is for one hour (extendable on prorata basis) and your boat escort takes you quite far in to the river bed to experience the natural habitat of Ghariyals, Crocodile, turtles and close to 300 species of resident and migratory birds.
